These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and AI Joy Apps ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of our website and any mobile application we publish on the Apple App Store or Google Play (each, the "App"). By using our website or an App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

01 Acceptance of these Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using our website or an App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
02 Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use our products. If you are under the age of majority, you may use them only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
03 License to use
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, and to access our website, for your own non-commercial use. This license does not transfer any ownership rights to you.
04 Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of an App, except where the law expressly permits;
- Rent, sell, sublicense, or redistribute the App or our content;
- Use the products for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users;
- Remove or obscure any proprietary notices.
05 Purchases & subscriptions
Some Apps may offer one-time purchases or auto-renewing subscriptions. All purchases are processed by Apple or Google through their in-app purchase systems — we never receive your payment card details. Prices, billing, renewals, free trials, and cancellations are subject to the terms of the App Store or Google Play.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.
06 Intellectual property
The AI Joy Apps name, logo, our apps, websites, designs, illustrations, text, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted to you.
07 Your content & feedback
You retain ownership of content you create or submit through an App. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the relevant features. If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use them to improve our products, with no obligation to you.
08 Third-party services
Our products may interact with or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
09 Disclaimers
Our website and Apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the products will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
10 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI Joy Apps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of our products. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant product in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
11 Termination
You may stop using our products at any time and delete the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or where we discontinue a product. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability) will continue to apply.
12 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the Taiwan Pingtung District Court shall be the court of first instance for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected.
13 App store terms (Apple & Google)
The following applies to Apps downloaded from the Apple App Store. This agreement is between you and AI Joy Apps only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation, and any product-liability, legal-compliance, or intellectual-property claims regarding the App are our responsibility, not Apple's. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government prohibited-parties list.
For Apps downloaded from Google Play, these Terms apply in addition to, and do not override, the Google Play Terms of Service.
14 Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Effective" date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
